The “Un-Agency”: A Fresh Approach to Client Services

I call my approach the Un-Agency because working with me is a little different from working with a traditional web agency.

There are no account managers, layers of communication, or handoffs between departments. When you have a question, you talk to me. When something needs to be fixed, I’m the person fixing it. And when we’re planning what comes next, I already know your website, your organization, and the people who use both.

That matters because a website rarely exists in isolation. It needs to work with your staff, your processes, your budget, and your goals. Over time, I learn what your team is comfortable handling on its own, where you need support, and what you’re trying to accomplish beyond the immediate request.

That’s why I think of myself less as an outside vendor and more as a partner in your business or organization. Sometimes that means building something new. Sometimes it means solving a problem, helping a staff member figure something out, or pointing out an easier way to do something before it becomes a bigger project.

Many of my client relationships have lasted for years, and that continuity has real value. You don’t have to explain your organization from scratch every time you need help, and I don’t have to rediscover how everything works before I can get started.

The Un-Agency isn’t really about being anti-agency. It’s about offering an alternative: direct communication, personal service, flexibility, and a long-term relationship with someone who knows your organization and has a stake in helping it work well.

Less agency. More partnership.

In a world where traditional agencies often fall short in delivering personalized and responsive service, the concept of the “Un-Agency” has emerged as a breath of fresh air. Traditional agencies can sometimes be cumbersome and inflexible, leading to client frustrations and unmet needs. My approach as a partner in your business means better service, less frustration for you, and better conversions for your website.
